The Queso talks to the Big Cheese, Brian Taylor from La Mega Media
Wednesday Jul 15, 2020
Wednesday Jul 15, 2020
In this episode, I had an enlightening conversation with Brian Taylor, the Vice President of Publishing at www.lamegamedia.com in Ohio, where print is alive and well. Pick up your copy in Cleveland, Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio, or suscribe online.
It was an honor to speak to an activist who is making a real difference in the world today. Listen in to find out what Brian says about the use of the term, "white privilege," and why he does not like to use it. We touched on everything from print journalism, the Vanessa Guillen case as it affects black and brown communities, and discussed ways to find a natural place of solidarity in these trying times.
Brian firmly believes that, "No one is free while others are oppressed." I could not agree more, and that is why The Queso was created.
Check out Brian's work at www.lamegamedia.com and on Facebook and Twitter.
